SECO Energy is excited to bring updated AMI (advanced metering infrastructure) technology to our valued members. The Honeywell AMI meter will provide detailed usage data and other energy-saving tools for you to save money on your bill. Through enhanced SmartHub features, these tools use an algorithm of your usage data to estimate how much energy your home’s electronics and appliances are using based on 15-minute interval data. If there’s a malfunction with an HVAC unit, water heater or other large energy use device, you’ll know sooner rather than later.

 

During the meter exchange at your premises, you will experience a momentary outage. There is no need to be home. The contractor will take a photo of the previous meter’s out reading for billing accuracy. This work is linear in nature, contractors are following established routes within substation and feeder boundaries. Due to weather and other anomalies, we are unable to offer appointments.

 

Data integration with the new meter may take up to 60 days. To view daily usage readings, schedule a payment, enroll in bank draft or pay your bill with a stored form of payment, enroll in SECO Energy’s account manager SmartHub.
