Through sound financial stewardship, SECO Energy has returned (retired) Capital Credits to members consistently for many years. The most recent retirement is $2.01 million that was approved by the Board of Trustees in their September 2023 meeting. The co-op has retired over $45 million in Capital Credits in the last decade and $80 million to its current and former members since its inception.

If you moved out of SECO Energy’s service territory and think you may have unclaimed Capital Credits search for your name and complete the request form to begin a claim.  We will work as quickly as possible toward resolution of your inquiry. It may take up to 60 days to research and issue a check on validated claims. We appreciate your patience and understanding that SECO is a not-for-profit electric cooperative with limited staffing.
