Find Bill Payment Help
Call, email or text Florida 2-1-1 to inquire about agencies that assist SECO Energy members with bill payment assistance. They will also assist in finding local agencies that offer job training/placement, child and elder care, housing, food, crisis assistance, healthcare, and more. To get started click contact Florida 2-1-1 to receive help in all areas of need and not just electric bill payment assistance.
You may qualify for financial assistance with your utility bill through the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) — a federally funded program that helps income-qualified households with home heating and cooling costs. LIHEAP provides funds through a network of local agencies across Florida. If approved, the payment will be made directly to your utility account.
To apply online, visit Florida LIHEAP, search for your utility provider Sumter Electric Cooperative (SECO) to begin the application process for bill payment assistance. SECO Energy does not administer LIHEAP funds, and does not guarantee eligibility or approval.
