GenerLink – Power Up. Stay Connected.

Safely Connect Your Portable Generator

Using a portable generator during a power outage may be a convenience, but if used improperly, can cause hazardous conditions for our employees, contractors, and your family. Now offered for purchase directly from SECO Energy, GenerLink eliminates the use of extension cords and other hazardous connections – providing a safe connection from the electric meter directly to the generator – and detects when a generator is operating and automatically disconnects it from the utility grid, eliminating dangerous back feed to the power grid.

Purchase GenerLink Today for $1,200 (plus tax/installation included)

GenerLink can only be purchased through SECO Energy and installed by a certified SECO Energy technician. To begin the purchase, email GenerLink@SECOEnergy.com or call (352) 793-3801. Watch your email for an acknowledgement form, and respond with agreement to the GenerLink Terms & Conditions. Once we receive your completed agreement, your account will be billed for the purchase. Installation will typically occur within two to four weeks after payment is received, depending on product demand and availability. No appointment is necessary, and no need to be home.

Important: SECO Energy needs safe, unobstructed access to the meter base to perform the installation.  If there are obstructions (gates, animals, landscaping) please be sure to resolve these issues before a technician comes to install your device. Your power will be interrupted briefly while the GenerLink is being installed and the connecting cord that comes with it will be left in a safe location of your choosing if you are not home for the installation.
