Need help paying your bill?

Call, email or text Florida 2-1-1 to inquire about agencies that receive SECO Energy Angel Funds for member bill payment assistance. Funds are contributed quarterly to United Way chapters in Citrus, Lake/Sumter and Marion Counties.

Florida 2-1-1 administers Angel Funds. Contacting Florida 2-1-1 links you to agencies that offer job training/placement, food pantries, crisis assistance, healthcare, bill payment assistance and more. It’s important to contact Florida 2-1-1 to receive help in all areas of need and not just electric bill payment assistance.

Angel Fund distributions are provided by the SECO Energy Pennies from Heaven Program. Members enrolled in Pennies from Heaven agree to round up their monthly bill up to the nearest dollar. The extra pennies are donated to support Angel Fund allocations by social service agencies for bill payment assistance. These pennies also allow SECO to provide support to worthy causes in our service area.

SECO Energy began its transition to normal billing and payment processes on August 6 – including disconnection for nonpayment.
