Electric Vehicle Off-Peak Charging Incentive

Electric vehicle (EV) owners who agree to charge their EVs during Super Off-Peak hours (12 a.m. to 6 a.m.) are eligible for a $7 monthly incentive. To be eligible, the all-electric EV must be owned or leased by the account holder, charge using a Level 1 or 2 Charger and registered with a state Department of Motor Vehicles agency.

Hybrid vehicles or street legal golf carts sometimes called neighborhood electric vehicles (NEV) are not eligible for the $7 monthly charging incentive.
Electric vehicle (EV) owners who agree to charge their EVs during Super Off-Peak hours (midnight to 6 a.m.) are eligible for a $7 monthly incentive. Pre-enroll today – the incentive will be available in May.

I agree to the terms and conditions of the SECO Energy Electric Vehicle (EV) Off-Peak Charging Incentive. To receive the $7 monthly incentive, I agree to charge my EV only during the Super Off-Peak hours between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. Upon request, I will furnish to SECO Energy proof that I, the account holder, own or lease the all-electric EV, Level 1 or 2 Charger set to charge during Super Off-Peak hours (charging app or EV dashboard) and copy of EV registration. I understand that SECO Energy will use an AMI meter at the premises to monitor, on an ongoing basis, the load profile of my usage to ensure EV charging is occurring predominantly during Super Off-Peak hours. Should it be determined that I am not charging predominantly during Super Off-Peak hours, Cooperative, at its sole discretion, may remove me from this optional rider and I shall not receive the $7 monthly incentive.
