SECO Energy members have a new easy-to-use online tool to identify the energy wasters in their homes – SECO’s new online Home Energy Assessment. Members who visit SECOEnergy.com and complete the Home Energy Assessment by 5 pm on October 31 will be entered in a drawing for a $300 electric bill credit.
The Home Energy Assessment is simple – members can begin identifying energy wasters by answering a short series of questions in four quick steps. Based on member answers, SECO will respond via email – within minutes. The email provides low-cost and no-cost energy-saving tools and tips. The email comes in a checklist format, giving members a step-by-step path to lowering their bills.
As a not-for-profit electric cooperative, SECO Energy continues its member-driven focus by educating members to use less energy and lower their electric bills. SECO is a two-time J.D. Power award winner – ranked “Highest in Customer Satisfaction Amongst Cooperatives,” in the cooperative segment. The company is committed to keeping member rates low, delivering reliable power and offering excellent customer service.
Members need only their account number to begin the Home Energy Assessment and receive ideas and solutions to create a more energy efficient home and lower their bills. The winner of the $300 electric bill credit will be drawn on November 1 and be notified via email.
